Because if I lost mine over this, you all do too.
The 2018 Accord. What even is going on in the front? I understand design cues (civic) are fun but sometimes....

I’m irked by two things: the lower rear light spear that goes into the trunklid and appears to be superfluous, and the chrome trim on the C-pillar window that ends in a flare, kind of a distant cousin of DLO fail.

I actually like the new Accord. It looks like a bigger version of an S660. Only thing that bothers me is the tail light which has that tail that runs into the trunk.

That tail light bothers me, but I’d still rather look at it than the Toyota/Lexus corporate grill of the last five years.

I like how the lower front bumper looks like it’s being held up by a bungee strap attached to the “vents”.

I guess you can at least tell that it’s a Honda from the front? I’m pretty sure the upper left picture is of a Malibu. Or an Elantra. Not sure.

I like it other than the chrome thing on the C-pillar.

I like it, reminds me of the CB7 accord

Given the tiny pic in the preview on my small screen I thought, for a second, that the upper right was my 406 coupe (20+ year old design) with front bumper damage. It has the slender headlights and the badge extending over the hood as well. The Honda design from the front is a bit, well, too much though. And that’s ignoring the rear end.

Black and a chrome delete will help it dramatically

Not quite,
fixed headlights will fulfill that appetite.

maybe it’ll look okay when the chrome bar is black or body color. Like the Civic is kinda okay

It reminds me a lot of the CRZ just take the rounded hood and replace it with a squared off chrome bar.

Yeah, I don’t no what I they were even thinking, the design isn’t coherent. The dimensions are just weird.

The front looks pre wrecked. Like its missing its grille or something.
Honda should really do an Accord Sport wagon with the 2.0t and the manual. I could ignore the front end in exchange for an upgraded booty.

I think in black with blacked out chrome bits it will look seriously good.

Eh, if they blacked out the chrome strip, it would look alright.

I am personally curious as to how the 2018 will look in flesh.
I am not in a market for one. But I am extremely interested. I am thinking it might do exceptionally well.
